Cameron Indoor Stadium

For those of you who have been waiting anxiousley for my next post, I am sorry to have kept you waiting. I'm trying to cut down on the drinking, which equals less drunken thoughts.
Anyway, I hope not to dissapoint, but I must warn this might be kinda boring for most.
Tonight I fulfilled one of my greatest dreams. After you read about it you may not think I have great dreams. But trust me, this one meant a lot to me. Tonight I went to Cameron Indoor Stadium to see Duke play for the first time. Ever since I was eleven, in March of 1992, when I saw Christian Laettner make the "Shot Heard Around the World" in overtime to beat Kentucky in a NCAA tournament semi-finals game I have been in love with the Duke basketball organization. Over the years I naturally developed a desire to go see where the "Cameron Crazies" cheer on the Blue Devils. Tonight that happened.
Right now, in this forum, I don't really feel like going in to great detail. Let me just say it is the best place in the world to watch a college basketball game. I might expand on this later but right now I just need some sleep.
Next post will be better.

Latest Awesome Movie and Music (kinda awesome)

So, I just watched Paris, je t'aime last night. Really it was the second time I had seen it, but the first time I atempted to watch it I was waisted and didn't make it all the way through; not because it was bad, I just passed out. But anyway, it is a great movie comprised of several short films, directed by various directors. The central theme is love obviously, hence the title.
I must warn anyone who doesn't like movies with subtitles, because most of the movie is in French. But with that out of the way, every story was awesome (some better than others).
Besides the great stories, there were quite a few cameos. Steve Buschimi (sp?), Natalie Portman, Maggie Gyllenhaal (sp?), and other famous American actors play parts. And I promise I am not just partial to the movie because I am secretly in love with Maggie Gyllenhaall. She is only in one short film.
WATCH IT

The latest music I downloaded is by a Scottish artist named Alexi Murdoch. I heard him on a friend's friend's myspace page and had to buy his album from itunes, mostly because I am partial to sad, acoutic music. So, if you like sad, acoustic music you might like Murdoch. I do admit he is kinda cheesy sometimes.

Hello

Well well well. I finally join the craze you kids are calling the blog.
I guess I will start by saying that the title of my blog is appropriate because unless something changes in the near future, I will probably be drunk (at least partially) when I write here. So with that being stated, if you don't like me when I'm drunk you probably won't like to read this. So fuck off.
The reason why I started blogging (geese I feel stupid using that word) is primarily because of my friends Jenna and Rusty (maybe Mandy some too). They didn't ask me to or anything. I just started reading their blogs tonight and thought it would be entertaining for myself (maybe others) to blog myself. Not blog myself: That sounds like some dark age tourture technique. But to write myself. By the way, I know my spelling sucks. I'm a teacher bitch.
But anyway, I digress. I will probably use this mode of communication to tell you how I'm feeling currently. You know, that, and let you know what movie I've recently seen or music I've recently listened too. Then, I will most likely tell you whether I liked or hated it. Yada, yada, yada. Oh yeah, I will probably go off on some public issue every now and again. Or bitch about how bad some people drive.
So enjoy or don't. No skin off my back. This is just an easy way for me to vent.
